Chapter 2. Installation Guide

The following sections will guide you in your quest of using tools like keyval2sh which require a system setup for processing XML documents.

If you are a skilled XML developer, you may not need or desire all of the supporting scripts provided by this package. You may simply be after the DTD and XSL files that will allow you to manipulate <keyval> documents with the XLST processor of your choice.

If you find yourself in this situation, you can pretty much ignore the rest of this manual (except the <keyval> Reference) and make use of the two following bits of information:

http://www.mekwin.com/vaisala/xml/dtd/keyval/keyval_1_0_0.dtd

This is public location for the DTD of <keyval> documents.

http://www.mekwin.com/vaisala/xml/keyval/xsl/

This is the public address where you can find all of the XSL files used to translate the <keyval> into something useful.
